What is Seabrook?

A Coastal Town Built with Intention

Founded in 2004 by Casey and Laura Roloff, Seabrook has grown from a bold idea into Washington’s premier beach town. Inspired by the principles of New Urbanism, Seabrook was designed to seamlessly connect the natural and urban environments on a scenic bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Every path, park, and street was created to foster community and connection, a safe, walkable town built around people rather than cars.

Today, Seabrook is home to more than 600 beautifully crafted homes, with over half available as vacation rentals through Seabrook Hospitality. The vibrant Town Center features 24 locally owned shops and restaurants, a grocery store, the Town Hall event space, an amphitheater, and several walk-on beach accesses that connect daily life to the ocean.

Seabrook's thoughtfully curated merchants provide year-round shopping, dining, and entertaining activities for the whole family. Let the kids explore the arcade, toy store, and candy shop, or gear up for outdoor adventure at the bike shop. Spend a relaxing day at the boutique spa, wine bar, or candle-making studio, and browse the shops for clothing, books, pet supplies, and home decor.

Beyond the Town Center, Seabrook offers miles of walking, hiking, and biking trails, as well as parks and playgrounds, sports courts, outdoor games, and both indoor and outdoor pools. A fitness center and a new regenerative farm connect residents and guests to wellness and sustainability. Coming soon are a short golf course and indoor pickleball courts, adding even more ways to play, connect, and unwind.

Throughout the year, Seabrook hosts a variety of events and experiences, from summer concerts and seasonal festivals to outdoor excursions, wine tastings, and family activities, each one designed to celebrate life on the Washington Coast.

Seabrook sits on a scenic coastal bluff just 2.5 hours from Seattle, 3 hours from Portland, and 45 minutes from Olympic National Park, a World Heritage Site known for its breathtaking rainforests, lakes, and beaches.

Within a three-hour drive of Seabrook, there is five times the disposable income, twice the population, and only a tenth of the lodging compared to Oregon’s Cannon Beach, making Seabrook uniquely positioned as the Pacific Northwest’s premier coastal destination.

Seabrook Community Foundation

The spirit of giving runs deep in Seabrook and is embodied by the Seabrook Community Foundation, a nonprofit organization established by town founders Casey and Laura Roloff. One percent of every Seabrook home sale, along with generous contributions from donors, helps fund scholarships and support local schools, emergency services, food banks, and community projects, totaling almost $8 million given to date.
